Peppermint Essential Oil #Review #SimplyEarth

I'll tell you something embarrassing.  Not that it SHOULD be, but it is.  Sometimes we have mice hang around.  They hang around because I put the trash on the porch for the man to bring to the dumpster and sometimes it sits there longer than it should.  The dog will rip the bag some, it needs to be rebagged, and the mice come running... little turds.

Did you know that the smell of mint repels them?  It doesn't kill them or hurt them, just makes them not stick around.  So when I got Peppermint Essential Oil from Simply Earth, I knew exactly what I was going to do with it.  Yup, I'm making a spray and I'm going to spray the whole area in hopes that they don't try to hang out on my porch.

You know what else you can make with Peppermint Oil?  You can make DIY Vapor Rub, toothpaste, astringent, lip balm, shower balm, and lots more!  Peppermint is so nice for sinuses and headaches, and muscle aches.
The peppermint oil I got came in a small brown 15 ml. bottle with a dropper top.  The lid has a plug inside to prevent oil from spilling into it when it's closed, it essentially makes it leak-proof.

What's cool about Simply Earth's Peppermint Oil, besides being 100% Pure and Therapeutic Grade, is that each month a portion of proceeds from each bottle sold goes to help a non-profit organization.  This month, 13% of all sales go towards efforts to end human trafficking.  Now that's a cause a person can get behind!  Learn more about that here.
The oil appears to be a clearish liquid and when put on the skin, it absorbs quickly, leaving a cooling sensation.  The smell is wonderful and crisp, it smells just like Candy Canes or Peppermint Candies.  It smells like Christmas at my grandmother's.
Peppermint is one of the most commonly used essential oils and I know you could find tons to do with it.  I know I will!
