#ValentinaParis Hand Painted Wine Glasses #Review

My wedding was one of the happiest days of my life, despite all the chaos and last minute runaround business of it all.  We only had a week or so to plan it all and invite everyone and we still had pretty much everyone show up.  It was a great day and I felt so beautiful.
One thing that really sticks out to me was that it was only the second time in my life that I'd had wine.  My mom tried to convince me to go for apple cider or ginger ale, or something like that, but I saw no problem with the wine.  It's probably a good thing that we had it, I'm not good at being the center of attention and I'm sure it took just enough of my jitters away for me to actually enjoy the day.
I kept my wine glasses from that day for as long as I could.  Truth be told, for a while there, my kids were pretty untamed and they got into everything, my glasses were just one of their many victims.  It makes me sad that I didn't have our wine glasses to celebrate with Broofy on our anniversaries.  I never bothered replacing them though, because none were the same and none were as beautiful.  But I'm happy to tell you that now I have a replacement.  And they are so lovely.

They are the Hand Painted Wine Glasses by Valentina Paris.  Aren't they fantastic?  Each one is hand blown and hand painted, no two are exactly alike.  The colors are beautiful and the designs are simple, yet elegant.  The stems are long and I really feel slightly more classy just because I own them.  They are definitely a piece that you'll want to show off.
Now, I know that these glasses look like averaged size glasses, but don't be fooled.  These things are HUGE, you could likely fit a quarter bottle of wine or more into each one of them.  I wish I knew the exact ounces.  But just to put a size on it for you, that's a 60 oz bottle of rum next to it, that's practically a 2-liter bottle sitting there!  Wish I had wine on hand to show you, but alas, none handy.  Are you getting a good idea of how massive they are though?  They're pretty sizable.
When you combine the size with the detailing, you can't lose.  The hand painted features are absolutely perfect.  And somehow, even the imperfections make it more perfect.  What I love most is the way that the dark lines are textured and both sink in and also pop out of the side of the glass at the same time.  Do you see that?  Isn't it fabulous?  Look at that detailing!  I would love to see these be made.
I also love that the inside of the glass is not smooth.  Not only does it serve to help boost the wine's flavor, but it's also just cool.  I honestly don't think I could find anything in these glasses that I don't like.  They're just wonderful all around.
To be quite frank, they actually leave me a little speechless.  I know that there's lots to say about them, but I just don't know how to properly convey how beautiful and special they are without sounding redundant.  So here's one last photo to really help it all sink in :)

Yup, I really think that every grown up should own one.  Every single grown up.  What about you, are you a wine aficionado?

One of my cousins/best friends got me drinking wine and I do have a glass occasionally. These wine glasses are absolutely gorgeous!! I don't think I've ever seen any like this or near their likeness. I did not realize their size until you compared them to the rum bottle, then I could tell that they are really large. But you are 100% right that they are beautiful. Thank you for such a good review.
