Sunsella Buddy Boxes Benot Lunch Box #Review #SunsellaBuddyBox

This year, I thought I'd do something a little different for Christmas.  It's something that I don't normally do.  I'm gonna fill up some to-go lunch containers with awesomeness.  Pretty much anything Santa would put into a stocking, that's what's going in their lunch boxes.  And we've needed some good lunch containers for a while, so it's perfect.  I'm thinking some collectible cards, snacks, nail polish, stickers... just smaller stuff.  Then after Christmas, they can use their lunch boxes for all of our rush out the door meals and make-ahead lunches.
I'm going to be using these awesome Buddy Boxes from Sunsella, they're bento box style lunch containers.  These things are awesome!  By now, I'm sure you've seen what a Bento box lunch is.  It's the cute little lunches that look like animals, usually with eggs, cheese, fruit, and bread being the main staples.  I'll be trying my hand at that soon.  For now, I'm going to really enjoy using these boxes for regular style food.

What I noticed first about these is how thick the plastic was.  I'm used to dollar store style to-go containers, so I was pleasantly surprised when I opened these and saw how durable they are.  They are freezer, microwave, and dishwasher safe.  These aren't leak proof, but to be honest... that's really the only thing that could make these any better, they're pretty great regardless.  I'll just have to remember not to use it for anything liquidy, like sauce based foods.

The biggest compartment of the three holds 3 1/2 cups, the second largest holds 1 1/3 cup and the smallest holds 1 cup.  Those are pretty nice sized compartments.  They come with different colored lids for each box, which is really helpful.  I like to keep things colorful in my house so that the kids always know which is theirs.  Baby Bee is yellow based colors (in this case orange), Punk is red based, Streaker is either pink or teal because colors can be limited sometimes, and The big one is Green or Blue.  The colors have changed some over the years and vary depending on what colors come in a package.

What's also cool, though you will find this with most lunch containers, is that these are stackable to save space.  They nestle neatly inside each other, as do the lids.  They also stack on top of eachother when they are being used, the bottom of one container sets inside the lid of the container under it.  They're really very nice containers.  I would recommend them, so long as you don't need them for soups.  They would also make great containers for craft items, etc.
What would you use these for?
