Sometimes I feel like my home is a jungle of wires, shoes, toys, and papers. It's a bit frustrating. I feel like I'm always tripping over something. My computer desk is a prime example of this. My keyboard and mouse fall often because of the baby knocking them from their tray. Kids are always coming to my computer and plugging things in to charge, so wires are sprawled across the floor, abandoned and in the way, caught up in my keyboard wire and other such things.
I've tried tying and wrapping the wires around the bars of the desk before. The problem with that was that if I needed a change, there was tons of untying and unwinding to do, it was a pain. Luckily now, I have these awesome Velcro cable straps to keep things in order. Turns out that they are handy in way more areas than just tangles wires!
These cable ties are 8 inches long, which is the perfect length for pretty much any use. You can use them to organize almost anything, from hair accessories to coat hangers, to base ball caps and craft supplies!
We actually found a pretty unexpected use in these. Streaker was having her first soccer game and she had already lost her socks. She had the shin guard inserts, but no way to hold them up. So we used these cable ties and inserted them into the holes that covered the whole outside of the guards. We put two on each side and connected them around her calves to each other. It worked great!
I think every home should have these! What would you use them for? To learn more, check out Swiss Precision on Amazon.
