BriteShield. BriteSmart, and BriteShot by #BriteFocus #Review

I've become such a scatterbrain over the past 6 years or so.  I don't know if it's from having kids or from raising them... maybe it's from lack of real nourishment, lack of sleep, or something different.  But sometimes I will open a new tab on my computer and bu the time the page loads, I'm asking myself what exactly I was doing in the first place.  What is this new tab for?  It's SCARY.  I don't want to get that way.
So when I saw these supplements that are focus-oriented, I thought. 'Worst case scenario, it's another dud product and I'll have to write up a not-so-flattering review'.  Thankfully, that's not the case.  So let me tell you a little bit about these things.  They are from BriteFocus, a company helping us keep our brains healthy.
The first one is BriteShield.  You take it in the morning with breakfast to protect your brain from harming effects of free radicals and toxins you encounter throughout the day.  It contains B12 and a proprietary blend of extracts and such called Cereprotectin.  I won't bother going into all of the ingredients, but I'll leave this photo of the label so that you can see it.
As you can see, the B12 level per dose is 667 mcg and according to the label, that's a whopping 11, 120% your daily value.  That concerned me, so I looked into it.  Turns out, it's actually not too terrible.  Certain people could benefit from this amount daily.  Still, if you are worried about a vitamin overdose, please do your research, you can find some interesting information here.
The second one I want to talk about is the BriteSmart.  You are supposed to take 3 with a meal during your day.  This one helps you focus.  I didn't think it would work when I got it, I really thought it was going to be a bit of a sham (sorry, BriteFocus people).  But I actually tend to grab these when I'm starting to lose my concentration.  It actually works!  To the point where I can remember to take them!  That's insane.  I wish you knew me in person, because you would know what a feat it is for me to remember a daily dose.  Or anything daily really, I'm horrible at routine.  But this works, so when I'm forgetting things left and right, I remember I have something that can help.
Biotin is highlighted in this one, it's commonly referred to as Vitamin H or B7.  Those who are deficient may have thinning hair or brittle nails.  Increasing this vitamin can help alleviate symptoms of depression or acne.  It's a really helpful vitamin, actually.  This vitamin, when taken as a supplement form MAY interract with anti-convulsant medications.  Of course, you should always consult a physician before taking on any supplements anyway.
And the last thing is the BriteShot.  I'll be brutally honest here and say that after the first few sips, it became really hard to choke down.  I did shake it, I just think that the taste was very overwhelming, like juice concentrate and kids vitamins.  It was rough.  Unfortunately, I did forget to snap a photo of the label before tossing it in the trash.  But it worked!  I felt so focused and alert.  I was able to knock things out without losing sight of what I was doing.  I loved it.
I'd definitely recommend these to anyone who needs a focus boost.  The only real critique I have besides needing an improvement on that taste is that some of the BriteSmart pills had cracked coating.  It didn't affect anything, I gulped them down, but it's just an observation.  Do you lose focus while working away at things?
