#Ohuhu Large Sleeping Bag and Carry Bag #Review #Camping

Remember that mini suitcase that I posted a few days ago?   I actually have two that size, but check this out:

If you didn't see this last time I posted it, can you guess what's in it?  Keep in mind that that is a normal sized window sill behind it, this is a pretty darn small suitcase.  That handle is definitely for one hand only.  SO take a second and guess what's in it... I'll wait.

     Give up?
It's everything my oldest daughter needs for a three-day weekend camping trip.  EVERYTHING.  It has:
2 changes of clothes
Sweatshirt
Bathing suit
Sneakers
Goggles
Toiletries
Sparklers
Notebook
Chapter Book

Tablet
Card Games
Pens/Pencils
Travel Pillow
Large Sleeping Bag
And as you can see up top, there's probably room on the right side to throw in a small towel.  I never would have thought this was even possible.  Part of it is that I have some skills when it comes to packing.  But most of it is that the sleeping bag we are using, the Ohuhu Large Sleeping Bag, shrinks into a super small size thanks to it's awesome adjustable carrying bag.  Can you even see the sleeping bag in there?  Here's a close up:
Yup, that's it, tucked away in that top left corner.  It took less room than the travel pillow!
Despite shrinking to a pretty small size, it's actually quite large.  The dimensions are 75"x 34" and easily accommodates an adult.  I'm fairly short myself, but my husband is 6' and this would envelope him, so you'd have to be pretty tall in order for this to not suit you.  It's also pretty wide.  At 34", it's almost three feet from side to side.  I'm a pretty sizable person that way and I have room to spare.  I could even fit the baby in with me.
The feeling of the sleeping bag is that it's pretty slippery and kind of thin.  You wouldn't want to use it outside if it's starting to get chilly.  But when it is zipped into an envelope shape, it is one of the most comfortable blankets that I have ever used.  I have been choosing this sleeping bag over my comforter lately!
The sleeping bag is meant for temperatures between 48 and 59 degrees Fahrenheit, so it's perfectly fine for indoors or outdoors when it is warm.  It could also be used outdoors with a camper that has a heater in it, but you definitely wouldn't want to use it during the chilly parts of the year.  It has a synthetic fill, not a down fill.
Overall, we were pretty happy with this sleeping bag, especially for comfort reasons and we will be using it all year round, not just for sleepovers.
How do you stay comfortable when you camp?
