***Zarbee's Cough Syrup Review***

I don't like to give my kids medicine unless I have to.  I've always been like that since my kids were born.  They get antibiotics when they have an infection and pain reliever for severe discomfort, but I'm definitely not one of those medicine happy moms.  So when I heard about Zarbee's all-natural children's cough syrup, I was interested.

Cough syrup has NEVER been something I looked forward to.  In fact, I hate the stuff so much, I don't even own any... until now.  If your kid resembles the kid in this video, you might want to  consider Zarbee's.



It has the following ingredients:

Honey proprietary blend (buckwheat, wildflower), water, natural flavors, ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), citric acid, zinc gluconate.

And some have malic acid (natural fruit acid to boost immunity).

That's it.  No medicine, no unneeded nonsense.  And here's the kicker...  It actually tastes good!  I was ready for a bite.  It took me almost a minute after pouring it to brave myself up for it.  But it went down so smooth.  It tastes like a dark honey with a hint of lemon.  It was very good.  I KNOW my kids will take some if they need it.  In fact, they will probably beg for it.  And it also comes in cherry flavored.

And because it is all natural, children as young as one year old can take it (children under one year old should not ingest honey).  Did you know that children under four can not take medicated cough syrup and that the age requirement may be raised to SIX!?  The Big One is six and I know that she has all too often had coughs that could have used some soothing.
I'm so glad that I have this on hand now.  I absolutely love that I have something I can give my kids that won't make me feel like I am poisoning their little bodies.  I love Zarbee's!  You can buy Zarbee's from lots of local stores, as well as online.
