Well, I'm not gonna be showing up in the clubs anytime soon, but I can at least dance at home now and maybe even with my kids. Why? Because I have some pretty terrific tools to teach me step by step how to dance. It's the Dance Lessons Starter Kit by Dance Crazy. It's not club dance, but social dance, like Swing and Salsa. They are partner dances and the video shows each step laid out for you, so there's no free-style, no guessing. I like that.
The instructors are very straight-forward and good at describing how to move so that it looks right. It starts a bit slow and you might be tempted to skip or you might get restless, but it goes in an important order. Sometimes they will teach you separately and sometimes with a partner, so both the leader and the follower have thorough instruction.
The music is nice and are perfect accompaniments to the type of dance being taught. What's also kind of cool is that a little bit of the history of the particular dance is told at the beginning of the DVD. This set is a set of 4 DVDs. One for each dance, Salsa, Swing, Merengue, and Bachata.
If you or someone on your gift list is thinking about learning to dance, or maybe they are huge DWTS fans, I definitely would suggest this set. Do you dance? To learn more, check out Dance Crazy on Facebook, Twitter, and Amazon, as well as their website DanceCrazy.com.
