There are so many times over the course of the day that I wish my fingernails were made of iron. I mean, they'd stink to file down, but they wouldn't crack and they'd be strong enough for all that I do with them. I use them for tying a knot when sewing, I use it for scraping things, pinching off things, and a bunch of other things.
But you know what comes a close second to iron nails? Tweezers. Tweezers are great for a lot of things, including splinters, craft work, eyebrows, and a lot more. Tweez'em, the stainless steel needle point tweezers by Magestic Bombay work especially well for things like ingrown hairs and splinters.
I don't think you want to use these on your eye brows, really. They are very sharp and a small imbalance could leave you blind or at least in considerable pain. So I would use them for things away from the eyes. The tips are made to be very precise and aligned so that it works every time.
I think that's an important part of tweezers working well. I've had tweezers whose tips didn't line up exactly or didn't close well at the tips and they were a pain. I always tried to fix them. Sometimes they were cheapo tweezers and bending them into place was easy, but short lived. Sometimes it was so hard that I couldn't really do it properly. These tweezers are rugged and would be hard to bend, but luckily you don't have to.
It comes with a cool protective tip cover so that you don't hurt yourself when you reach into your purse (been there... yowch!) and it also does come with the original case for it in case you want to just keep it in that.
Of all the tweezers I've had over the years, this is one of the best, so I'd definitely recommend it to someone who needs one for their first aid box or is maybe looking for an ingrown hair solution. Do you have tweezers in your first aid box? Do you have a first aid box?
